Fairy Pools, 2024-2025
Ceramics, video
”Fairy Pools” is a work dealing with personal memories in a poetic way. Three ceramic sculptures and three glass sculptures together with a video projection creates a mellow and meditative installation in a landscape of solid, untouched stones under water. A memory is taken out of time and place to a space where the audience can observe to connect with the presented scenery and their own lives, reminded of the virtues of every day moments.
”In the video I am sharing a dear memory of mine that is giving me comfort. With its simplicity it is calming my mind and letting me see the importance of appreciating my surroundings.”
Pictures and video taken during the exhibition ”(Un)thinking futures” at Loods 6, Amsterdam, Netherlands
